Commencing in the winter of 2022 and completed in the spring of the following year, Barcud Cyf employed Chesworth Construction to undertake remedial works on a pair of timber-frame semi-detached properties that required cosmetic and structural improvement. Residents remained in situ during the works, and the team took great care to ensure their safety, which remained paramount throughout the duration of the project.

The scope of the remedial works included;

• Careful demolition and removal of the external walls (lightweight blockwork and render)

• Removal of perished oak cladding, fascia/soffits, and rainwater guttering

• Rebuilding of external walls in solid concrete blockwork

• Rerendering of external walls with Webber render system

• Installing new UPVC fascia/soffits and rainwater guttering

• Installing new Cedral Cladding system
